FlightService offers a robust solution for users needing timely airport and navigation aid information. With the ability to schedule weather notifications tailored to your preferences, you can select an airport along with a delivery date and time. The service will then provide up-to-date METAR data through push notifications, ensuring you stay informed.

This application grants access to vital information for over 10,000 airports and 3,700 navigation aids globally, all directly on your iPhone or iPod touch. Notably, it operates without an internet connection, as most data (excluding current weather) is stored locally on your device.

Key features include:

 <li>Current weather updates for major airports.</li>
 <li>Detailed runway information, including length, heading, ILS identifiers, and applicable frequencies.</li>
 <li>A powerful search function that allows users to quickly find information using either identifiers or names.</li>
 <li>The capability to maintain a favorites list for easy access to frequently needed data.</li>
 <li>A convenient view of nearby airports displayed either in a list format or on a map relative to your current location or any navigation aid.</li>
